Dotty

Dotty lives in suburban NJ with her DH and her two boys, Chopsticks (5 yr old, named after his skinny legs), and Juicy Dumpling (2 yr old, named after his delicious cheeks).  She grew up in Hong Kong, moved to Queens with her family at 14, Manhattan when she got married, and ultimately to suburban NJ to start a family. 

She started blogging to share her life as a mom, a wife, a woman, a shopper, a Chinese-American, a shoe fan, and an entrepreneur.

Debbie

Debbie grew up in San Gabriel Valley, about 15 minutes east of Los Angeles, went to high school with about 2,000 (50% of student body) other Asians where a 4.0 GPA would barely qualify you into the top 10% of the class. She lived in NYC, North Carolina, and San Francisco before settling down in central Jersey with her NJ native husband and 3 boys.

She is a super mom who educates, chauffeurs, cooks, and cleans (barely) after her children. **************************************************************************************************

Allie

Allie is Dotty’s sister-in-law.  She has 3 beautiful children, and is raising them Jewish with a drizzle of soy sauce.  She is a great cook, and can make anything from bok choy to bobka.  Her grandmother once declared she was ready for marriage because she had mastered the ability to cook rice perfectly!

She will be contributing to our blog from time to time, sharing her stories, and hopefully with lots of delicious recipes.
